I enjoyed your web site.

I am a member of the Ice Screamers, an international organization with over 400 members dedicated to collecting ice cream and soda fountain memorabilia. One area of major interest to our members is the old marble soda fountains and I am currently updating our list of locations that have fountains that could be viewed by our members. While surfing the internet for Pharmacy Museums I came across your web site and saw that your museum has an old soda fountain on display. Can you give me some information regarding the manufacturer, model and year it was built and a brief history of the fountain? With your permission, I would be pleased to add your fountain to our list of places to visit

Thanking you in advance for your assistance.

Thanks for your email. I would be honored to have this fountain listed by the Ice Screamers, a highly esteemed and respected organization!
The marble soda fountain was made by the Liquid Carbonic Company in 1928 and was installed in a Buffalo Center Iowa drugstore until 2003 when it was moved to it's present location in Saint Peter Minnesota.
There is no model number on the fountain. It has 4 different kinds of marble and cost as much as a brand new Cadillac when it was purchased in 1928.
If there is any more information please contact me. Also the history of the Liquid Carbonic Company can be found on this website.
Thanks,
