As a kid growing up in the 60's, there was Warren's Soda Shop at Topsail Beach, NC which was across from my grandmother's beach house...there we had the drink called
Cherry Smash... i remember it being made of syrup and seltzer water and cubed ice....served in a big Sweetheart Cup....
Warren's was the first stop on our way in and on our way home...
I sure miss that drink....and those hot summer days of fun...
