Hubert Humphrey Documentary
 |
| Production of the Humphrey documentary | FILMING AT THE SODERLUND PHARMACY MUSEUM PBS is creating a documentary about the life of Hubert H. Humphrey, one of Minnesota's favorite sons. Humphrey grew up in a drugstore in the first part of the 20th century and eventually became a pharmacist just like his father. His life was shaped by listening to his father and others from the small rural town in North Dakota discuss politics.
Hubert H. Humphrey was a US senator and the vice president and a civil rights leader. He was also a pharmacist so in a way Humphrey has a connection to the Soderlund Pharmacy Museum.
Mick Caouette and his production crew as well as the cast of characters put on quite a show during their filming at Soderlund Village Drug. We were honoured that they chose to use the Soderlund Pharmacy Museum as the background for their film!
